Since 2004, due to my husband’s profession as a Chief Marine Engineer and seafarer, I became closely connected to the world of seafaring. Over the years, I traveled by sea to ships and various countries, and capturing moments from the ocean, vessels, and the places we visited deeply fascinated me.
At that time, smartphones and digital cameras were not yet common, so most of my photographs were taken in printed form. I owned a handycam and mainly focused on filming; many of those videos are still preserved on old tapes.
With the arrival of digital cameras, I was able to take more photographs. All of this work was driven purely by passion and personal interest, without realizing that it was gradually becoming an artistic path for me.
